RYAA is looking for at least one volunteer to serve the role as a community sports journalist.  This person will help us promote the RYAA in the local community through writing and photojournalism.  This is not a paying position, as we are a strictly volunteer-based organization.  However, this is a great opportunity to do good for the community, have some fun, and / or gain some experience.

The ideal person would have some experience and interest in writing news and feature stories about events, announcements, volunteers, and players.  Additionally, the role would benefit significantly from access to a digital camera and / or camcorder for photo and videography assignments (if you don’t have a camera but want to write for us, please don’t let that stop you from contacting us).  Duties would include working closely with the marketing director on assignment to capture stories and pertinent information for use on the RYAA Website and in other promotional materials and community news releases.

Age doesn’t matter!  Whether you are in high school and want to get some experience or are retired with plenty of time on your hands . . . we want to talk with you!
